Why I Love Canva!
Let me tell you why I love Canva. Before I was aware of Canva I thought scroll-stopping social media graphics, attention grabbing website & blog graphics were only achievable if you paid a graphic designer to create them for you. As a small business owner this was a blue sky expense. Something I could possibly commission once I had the revenue to spend on marketing.
One of the best tools I have purchased for my business has been Canva Pro. If you are looking to really up your social media and visibility game then I highly recommend upgrading to Canva Pro. However, there is plenty you can do with the free version if it’s an additional expense you currently can’t justify.
If you don’t even yet have a Canva Free account then what are you wafting for?
Usability
The simple drag and drop interface means you don’t need a phd to use it and can quite easily become your own graphic designer in a few hours!
Sizing
Every social media platform seems to require a different size. Canva offers you all the sizes for various element from a Facebook banner to a tri-fold leaflet. With Canva Pro you can resize anything you’ve already created.
Time Saving
If you are not particularly creative then you don’t have to spend hours of time trying to come up with beautiful graphics, Canva has a library of templates you can tweak, brand in your own business colours, fonts and amend to suit your industry. If you can’t find anything in the Canva library then you can find a whole host of different templates on Etsy, Creative Market etc, just search for Canva templates. Digitally Dazzling offers a selection of templates in the Dazlr Studio that you can quickly and easily change to suit your brand aesthetic and industry.
Branding
You can set your brand colours to ensure consistency across all of your planforms. It also helps you to choose the perfect colour combinations and fonts if you are still in the process of choosing your branding.
Versatility
